Art Therapist
We’re looking for a dedicated and creative Art Therapist to join our team at HumanKind. In this role, you’ll design and lead art therapy and well-being programmes for a range of groups, children, communities, and even corporate teams. It’s a great fit if you enjoy blending clinical insight with creative expression and working in both therapeutic and group settings.
This role can be full-time, part-time, or project-based, with flexibility in how and where you work (on-site, hybrid, or at our PARC Subang Jaya location).
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver art therapy or expressive arts sessions for different groups
- Design workshops and programmes based on participant needs and therapeutic goals
- Facilitate sessions with a focus on psychological safety and creative expression
- Coordinate logistics, such as schedules, materials, and communication with clients or partners
- Support and guide co-facilitators or volunteers during sessions
- Collect feedback and contribute to programme reflections or reports
- Adjust your approach in real-time based on the group’s needs and dynamics
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Art Therapist or Expressive Arts Practitioner
- Experience working with children, underserved groups, or communities
- Skilled in group facilitation and creating safe, engaging spaces
- Familiar with trauma-informed practices and ethical, inclusive approaches
- Comfortable working with a variety of audiences, including schools and corporate teams
- Able to manage multiple programmes with clear communication and good planning
